RSS and HTML Feeds

Format of the RSS feed is:

• http://meetings.vtools.ieee.org/meetings/rss for all meetings
• http://meetings.vtools.ieee.org/meetings/rss/region# gets all meetings for region
  • Example: http://meetings.vtools.ieee.org/meetings/rss/8
• http://meetings.vtools.ieee.org/meetings/rss/region#/section_name gets all meetings for section
  • Example http://meetings.vtools.ieee.org/meetings/rss/8/south%20africa/

Only published meetings from the future will be published and they are listed in order.

For the Region coordinator:

• /meetings/society/rss/region#
  • Example: http://meetings.vtools.ieee.org/meetings/rss/8

Format of the HTML / XML feeds are:

• http://meetings.vtools.ieee.org/meetings/format/start_date/stop_date/asc_or_desc/region#/section_name/ou

Like the RSS feed, you can terminate the URL from the right backwards till asc_or_desc.

format

is either html or xml

asc

is ascending sort of start dates (like RSS feed) and

desc

is descending sort (backwards in time).

start_date

is either a date of form YYYYMMDD or a relative value like -3 or 20 meaning 3 days in past or 20 days in future. Today is 0.

end_date

is a date formatted like the start_date but terminates the list of meetings

• http://meetings.vtools.ieee.org/meeting/html/next/region#/section_name/ou

This form gives only the next meeting for the unit (also available in xml flavor)
